Over 50 young people across five countries had now contributed to the visual heart of the Spot the Diversity game. Each participant created at least one symbol. Together, they produced 67 icons representing culture, EU values, and environmental responsibility – a few more than we needed!

Jedna Mladost then stepped in to digitise, refine, and unify the designs, reducing back to 55. Two final icons were added — the EU flag and the project logo — bringing the total to 57.

The result?

A full deck of 55 playing cards inspired by the “Spot It” game concept. Each card shares only one identical symbol with another card. Players must quickly spot the match — and then discuss what that symbol represents.

What started as pencil sketches on classroom tables has now become a real educational game. A test pack is being prepared for printing. The instruction leaflet is being written and translated. Soon, the game will move into its next phase.

From ideas to drawing symbols to a game created by young people, for young people.
